 "Far Off Places"

The wonderful part of painting, for me, is the opportunity to take journeys into my mind and be wherever I want to be in the world of make believe.    This and the prior posting is that venture.  It is the fun of just being ..... no limitations and no guidelines .... just traveling through a wonderful whimsical world of uncharted blank paper.   I don't experiment with collage very often but this was great fun.

Delicate Beings

I have always loved to watch these gentle beings in flight as well as perched upon a leaf. They are such a wonderful part of nature. This was a great experience in floating the boarder with watercolor and randomly dropping in the bits of rice paper to achieve the old frame affect. Nature has such wonderful painting opportunities life is not long enough to capture all the wonders but I am going to try.
